Arthur M. & Berdena King Eagle Scout Scholarship

The CASSAR Chairman for the Eagle Scout Scholarship is Owen R. Stiles.

The deadline to submit applications to the CASSAR Eagle Scout Chairman for the 2011 Arthur M. & Berdena King Eagle Scout Scholarship is December 1st 2010. Your Local Chapter can give you the specific deadline for receipt of your application at the local level.

If you do not have a local CASSAR chapter in your area and/or your local CASSAR chapter does not participates in the Eagle Scout Scholarship program, please submit your application directly to the CASSAR Chairman for the Eagle Scout Scholarship, Owen R. Eagle Scout Certificate of Recognition

If you would like to have your Eagle Scout recognized with a certificate by the CASSAR for his achievement at his Eagle Scout Court of Honor, please contact your local chapter first.

Knight Essay Contest

A scholarship money competition for California high school juniors and seniors. If there are questions, contact Youth Activities Director Thomas C. Adams

ROTC/JROTC Program

The 2010-11 Chairman for the ROTC/JROTC Program is James Fosdyck.

Valley Forge Program

Fifth grade teachers, and/or American History teachers teaching grades eight through twelve grade within the State of California, private or public school systems, are eligible to apply for this award program. The award consists of one week at the Valley Forge Foundation Workshop at Valley Forge, Pennsylvania.  It covers the workshop, lodging, meals*, park admission, bus fares at the Freedom Foundation and round trip transportation from a major air terminal in California. (*meals can not be provided when the chosen workshop travels off the Foundation's campus)

Spirit of America Award

The Spirit of America Award involves working with officials of a middle school or junior high school district to select and award two young people (one boy, one girl) from the district's graduating class to receive the SAR Bronze Good Citizenship Medal and its accompanying certificate at the graduation ceremonies of each selected student's school

The Chairman for the Spirit of America Award Program is Bob Taylor.
